A Warning to Fathers, Protect Your Daughter. By Any Means

Though I tried, I failed.
I am holding her last Father's Day card to me.
She was murdered in March of 2007.
If your daughter is friends with, dating or married to anyone that shows the following signs, you must do "all that is within your power" to protect your daughter.
Do not assume that the authorities will help you. They failed my daughter miserably.
Dad, take all measures to protect her from anyone that exhibits any of these behaviors.
Warning Signs of an Abusive Personality
- Verbal or Physical Abuse
- Jealousy
- Controlling Behavior
- Isolation
- Blame-shifting for Problems
- Hypersensitivity
- Cruelty to Children
- Cruelty to Animals
- Negative Attitude toward Women
- Rigid Gender Roles
There is more than likely a Domestic Violence organization in your area. If so, seek and follow their advice immediately. He will not go away. Seek a DV Shelter if available.

If he is in jail, do all you can to keep him in jail. A Restraining Order is not enough.
